This album offers the best mix of orchestral and ethnic Armenian music I’ve ever heard. Mychael Danna did a superb job in composing this soundtrack . Soundtracks , in my opinion, are what make or break a movie , and in this case, …

Soundtrack Geek Has It’s Own Theme Song!
Jul 5, 2010 Uncategorized, movie music soundtracks
I was approached recently with one of the most brilliant ideas I have ever heard. What if every website has it’s own theme song like movies, TV and games have today? When you go to certain websites, you can almost hear it can’t you?

Track 17, A Slight Skirmish, starts with the spine-tingling theme for the dragon that opens the movie , however sound effects and some unfortunate dialling-down lessens the impact of it in the movie as Galen is forced to cower behind his …

Soundtrack Review: The Wolfman (2010)
Apr 8, 2010 Uncategorized, movie music soundtracks
Movie Soundtrack Review : This is a review of the motion picture score The Wolfman by Danny Elfman . “Haslinger’s score might have been good, but I really wanted Elfman’s grand gothic score and I got my wish.” The Wolfman has been a mess from day one, change of direction seems to be fun for the guys and gals in charge. The movie is about the legendary Wolfman and is directed by Joe Johnston and starring Benicio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins.

Buy 2 New Klaus Badelt Scores For Any Price You Want
Apr 3, 2010 Uncategorized, movie music soundtracks
Now tell me this. Has Klaus Badelt lost his marbles or is this a stroke of genius? Could this perhaps be the future of music? Not only has Klaus Badelt introduced a pick-your-own-price scheme to two of his latest scores, but he also lets you download it in any format you want, DRM free. The formats include MP3, FLAC, AAC, OGG Vorbis and ALAC and the scores are L’arnacoeur and Die Jagd nach der Heiligen Lanze. Consider my two scores ordered! This is certainly a welcome move from the composer and I wonder if others will follow suit?
