Ok, maybe not a surprise, in fact it’s probably one of the least surprising wins ever. I knew it would win and it did. I think you all know my sentiments on that if you listened to the Oscore Noms podcast a couple of weeks ago. Congratulations to Michael Giacchino are in order for winning Best Score. Although it was expected, it wasn’t an easy feat.

I had to put it up here for you all to see. 3 Discs of score from Avatar by James Horner. Over 2 hours of music! This can be yours for oh… I don’t know, 500 bucks? Yes indeedy, sources say this For Your Consideration promo is indeed legit and it is now for sale on eBay. Now if I was a rich man… you know how it goes. I’d snap this out faster than you can say “4-note motif” and lisgten to it until my ears fall off.
